The study refers to the origin and development of industries derived from wine specialization in Mendoza. The production and distribution of wine alcohol is covered, emphasizing case studies of independent manufacturers, primarily inmigrant in origin. It also considers the contribution of the local metal industry, which was responsible for repair and manufacture of distilling equipment and other instruments demanded by industrial distilleries. Similarly, the study addresses the most representative cases of the role played by liquor producers, resulting from their consumption of wine alcohol as a raw material.
