    Nuestro entrevistado es Doctor en Biología, ha sido también investigador en la Universidad de Oxford y ha realizado estancias en la Universidad de Innsbruck (Austria) y el European Molecular Biology Laboratory de Heidelberg (Alemania). En 2010 fue reconocido con el Premio Europeo de Divulgación Científica y, en 2018, con el Premio Magisterio por su contribución a la Neuroeducación. A lo largo de esta entrevista reflexiona sobre el papel de la memoria en los aprendizajes o sobre la ecuación memoria y tecnología. Reivindica además una unión entre neurociencia y educación, que ayude a los maestros, los centros educativos y las estructuras estatales a potenciar currículos y formas de hacer que estimulen la capacidad innata que tenemos los seres humanos para aprender. En definitiva, apuesta por una educación que posibilite a los seres humanos afrontar el futuro con optimismo y aprender durante toda la vida.

    Our interviewee is a Doctor in Biology, has also been a researcher at the University of Oxford and has completed stays at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg (Germany). In 2010 he was recognized with the European Prize for Scientific Dissemination and, in 2018, with the Teaching Prize for his contribution to Neuroeducation. Throughout this interview, he reflects on the role of memory in learning or on the equation memory and technology. It also claims a union between neuroscience and education, which helps teachers, educational centers and state structures to promote curricula and ways of making them stimulate the innate capacity that human beings have to learn. In short, it is committed to an education that enables human beings to face the future with optimism and to learn throughout life.
