Resumen de “Plan de cuidados individualizado a paciente con endometriosis”

  La endometriosis afecta al 7-10 % de las mujeres en edad fértil. Representa un importante problema para la salud sexual y reproductiva de las pacientes que padecen esta enfermedad, no sólo desde el punto de vista sanitario, sino también social, familiar, y laboral.

  Actualmente no existe tratamiento causal sino sintomático, consistente en terapia hormonal, analgésicos y cirugía, que va dirigido a aliviar el dolor intenso, a prevenir el avance de la enfermedad y a tratar la infertilidad.

  Como la referente del cuidado en el contexto de la salud la enfermería no puede abstraerse de la compleja y traumática que viven las mujeres con endometriosis y es por eso que nos planteamos el siguiente plan de cuidados.

  Endometriosis affects 7-10% of women of childbearing age. It represents a major problem for the sexual and reproductive health of patients suffering from this disease, not only from the health point of view, but also social, family, and occupational.

  Currently there is no causal but symptomatic treatment, consisting of hormonal therapy, analgesics and surgery, which is aimed at alleviating intense pain, preventing the progression of the disease and treating infertility.

  As the benchmark of care in the context of health, nursing cannot abstract from the complex and traumatic experience of women with endometriosis and that is why we consider the following care plan
