    En el presente contexto se incursiona en las dos perspectivas gnoseológicas principales que encierra la noción de identidad, cada vez más gravitante en la vida contemporánea: la crítica y la espontánea, la que constituye un motivo de preocupación para la intelligentzia y aquella otra faceta más vinculada con los requerimientos sociales y civiles.

    Dieser Artikel durchstreift die beiden erkenntnistheoretischen Perspektiven, unter denen der Begriff der Identität im Verhältnis zum Leben in der heutigen Welt ständig deutlicher diskutiert wird: eine kritische und eine spontane; das heißt: jene Perspektive, mit der sich vorrangig die “Intelligenzia” befasst, sowie jene andere Betrachtungsweise, die eher soziale Vorderungen repräsentiert und damit ein Symbol für menschen- und bürgerrechtliche Bewegungen ist.

    In this paper, the very special meaning that the notion of identity has acquired in relation to contemporary life is analyzed in relationship to common wisdom and to systematic knowledge. The concept of identity is seen not only as an intellectual scope but mainly as a social demand, as a symbol of human rights and civil movements.
