Resumen de El poder de la educación: Vías de integración para las jóvenes de América Latina

La educación constituye un epicentro estratégico en donde se dirimen los procedimientos y las dinámicas de transformación social. Más allá de las trasformaciones inauguradas en América Latina en la década del '90 e inicios del siglo XXI, queda pendiente la construcción de una propuesta educativa capaz de garantizar mayores niveles de inclusión, arremeter contra la desigualdad socioeconómica y abogar por el reconocimiento de la diversidad cultural. La indefensión y el desencanto que asedian a los niños y los jóvenes, se asientan en la carencia de opciones y espacios de participación en los diferentes ámbitos de la vida social. Por este motivo, el presente artículo analiza la interacción planteada entre la educación, las demandas juveniles y los actuales desafíos de la integración social y laboral.

Education is a strategic epicenter occurring where the procedures and the dynamics of social transformation are reflected. Beyond the transformations inaugurated in Latin America in the mid '90s and early twenty-first century, there remains the construction of an educational proposal capable of ensuring higher levels of inclusion, fight against socio-economic inequality and advocate for the recognition of cultural diversity. The non protection and the disappointment that beset children and young people are based on the lack of options and opportunities for participation in the different fields of social life. For this reason, this article analyses analyses the interaction among education, young people’s demands and the current challenges of social integration and employment.

Die Erziehung ist ein strategisches Epizentrum, in dem die Verfahrensweisen und die Dynamik der sozialen Transformation definiert werden. Abgesehen von den Transformationen, die in Lateinamerika in der Mitte der 90er Jahre und zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts angegangen wurden, ist die Ausarbeitung eines Erziehungs-Projekts bis heute noch eine unerfüllte Aufgabe, das eine höhere Ebene der Integration garantieren, die sozio-ökonomische Ungleichheit angehen und Fürsprecher sein könnte für die Anerkennung der kulturellen Vielfalt. Die Hilflosigkeit und Enttäuschung, die Kinder und Jugendliche heute bedrängen, fußen auf dem Mangel an Optionen und Möglichkeiten der Teilnahme innerhalb der den verschiedenen Bereiche des gesellschaftlichen Lebens. Aus diesem Grund analysiert dieser Artikel die erwähnte Interaktion zwischen Erziehung, den Erwartungen der Jugendlichen und den aktuellen Herausforderungen der sozialen Eingliederung und der Integration in den Arbeitsmarkt.
