    ¿En qué términos debe ser pensada la imagen contemporánea? Bien que la imagen puede ser aún la consolidación de la presentación y la representación del mundo, no es por tanto solo eso, es preciso también aceptar los límites de la representación e intentar ajustar su condición al mundo actual. El arte contemporáneo, luego de esfuerzos heroicos, por tomar distancia de la imagen y desmantelar la idea según la cual, el artista era un productor de imágenes, logró desplazar su centro de interés de la representación; equivocado pensar, aunque tentador, que logró separarlo de la imagen, si bien así lo creyeron artistas y demás. Fue la idea renovada de archivo, por una parte, la que la trajo de vuelta al mundo del arte. En ese sentido, quizá lo más atractivo de la imagen del arte contemporáneo es que no se ve, aunque tampoco será celebre por eso
