Resumen de Conocimientos y actitudes de estudiantes universitarios hacia la diversidad de género y la diversidad sexual en un contexto multicultural

  Esta investigación tiene la finalidad de analizar los conocimientos y lasactitudes que los discentes de la Universidad de Granada, en concreto, delcampus de Melilla, tienen hacia la diversidad de género y sexual. En estainvestigación se empleó una metodología cuantitativa, basándose en unestudio Ex post facto de tipo correccional. En cuanto a la muestra se componepor 251 participantes, empleándose como instrumento un cuestionariodiseñado ad hoc para este estudio. Tras analizar los resultados obtenidos seconcluye que los estudiantes tienen actitudes respetuosas hacia el tema dela investigación y conocimientos básicos hacia el mismo, pero es relevantemencionar la diferencia existente con respecto a la variable religión. Estadiferencia es sobre todo actitudinal, ya que los participantes aconfesionalesmuestran las actitudes más flexibles y tolerantes hacia el colectivo LGBITQ+.En cuanto a la orientación sexual también se encuentran diferencias debido aque los participantes homosexuales son los que presentan un mayor nivel deconocimiento y mejores actitudes hacia la diversidad de género y sexual. Porúltimo, se estima de vital importancia seguir investigando en esta temáticapara ofrecerle visibilidad y seguir luchando contra las conductas LGTBIQfóbicas.

  This research aims to analyse the knowledge and attitudes that students at the University of Granada, specifically on the Melilla campus, have towards gender and sexual diversity. A quantitative methodology was used in this research, based on an ex post facto correctional study. The  sample consisted of 251 participants, using a questionnaire designed specifically for this study. After analysing the results obtained, it was concluded that the students have respectful attitudes towards the subject of the research and basic knowledge of it, but it is relevant to mention the existing difference with respect to the religion variable. This difference is mainly attitudinal, as non-denominational participants show the most flexible and tolerant attitudes towards the LGBITQ+ collective. In terms of sexual orientation, differences are also found because gay participants have the highest level of knowledge and best attitudes towards gender and sexual diversity. Finally, it is considered of vital importance to continue researching this issue in order to give it visibility and to continue fighting against LGBITQ-phobic behaviour.
