  Objetivo: El objetivo general de este estudio es identificar la actitud y la motivación hacia la investigación de las enfermeras que están cursando formación postgraduada. Los objetivos específicos: a) Describir el perfil de la muestra: características sociodemográficas, laborales, académicas y de experiencia en investigación; b) Identificar la opinión personal acerca de la investigación, c) Determinar la opinión sobre cómo influye la vida personal y la carga laboral en el tiempo a dedicar a la investigación; d) Identificar la opinión y/o percepción que tienen las enfermeras/os, referente a la preparación y conocimientos que tienen o necesitan para investigar. Método: Estudio descriptivo observacional transversal. Se llevó a cabo en una muestra de n=86 enfermeras que estaban realizando una Máster en la Universidad de Barcelona. El estudio se realizó entre los meses de octubre y noviembre de 2018. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario sobre actitud a la motivación a la investigación de Cepeda et al. (2010), que consta de 42 ítems, divididos en 5 apartados, además de un formulario de datos de elaboración propia. Resultados: La mayoría opina que para investigar es necesario dedicar mucho tiempo y que el trabajo lo impide, además creen que los conocimientos y preparación que poseen no son suficientes para realizar investigación. Conclusiones: Es importante identificar cuáles son los factores que dificultan la motivación y detectar que elementos pueden fomentarla, de forma que puedan realizarse estrategias que puedan potenciar la motivación e implicación hacia la investigación

  Objective: The general objective of this study is to identify the attitude and motivation towards research of nurses who are undergoing postgraduate training. The specific objectives: a) Describe the sample: sociodemographic, employment, academic and research experience characteristics; b) Identify personal opinion about the research; c) Determine the opinion of how personal life and workload influence the time to dedicate to research; d) Identify the opinion and/or perception that nurses have, regarding the preparation and knowledge they have or need to investigate. Method: Cross-sectional observational descriptive study. The sample consisted of n=86 nurses who were doing a master’s degree at the University of Barcelona. The study was conducted between the months of October and November 2018. The instruments used were the Questionnaire on attitude to motivation to research by Cepeda et al. (2010), which consists of 42 items, divided into 5 sections and ad hoc data form. Results: Most believe that research takes a long time and work prevents it that knowledge and preparation are not enough to conduct research and that their knowledge and training are not sufficient to conduct research. Conclusions:

  It is important to identify the factors that hinder motivation and detect the elements can promote it, so that they can carry out strategies that can enhance motivation and involvement in research.
