Las gramáticas bi-plurilingües (español, francés) en los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII: ¿una gramática contrastiva avant la lettre?

    Este trabajo efectúa una propuesta de clasificación (o tipologización) de las gramáticas monolingües (para aprender una lengua meta) y bi-plurilingües (para aprender dos o varias lenguas) editadas en los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII en el ámbito del español, del francés y del italiano, aportando algunos ejemplos de cada uno de los tipos propuestos. Vista la producción editorial de estos siglos en este amplio campo, constatamos que las gramáticas bi-plurilingües constituyen un fenómeno editorial relevante y específico de los siglos XVI y XVII –que permanece en el siglo XVIII con menos pujanza y desaparece prácticamente en el siglo XIX– para el que aportamos algunas reflexiones con la intención de desentrañar las intenciones de los autores y editores al apostar por este tipo de material lingüístico, así como la justificación de las mismas desde el punto de vista de la concepción de la lengua y de su aprendizaje.

    This work is a proposal for the classification (or typologization) of monolingual (for learning a target language) and bi-plurilingual (for learning two or more languages) grammars published in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries in the fields of Spanish, French and Italian, providing some examples of each of the types proposed. In view of the editorial production of these centuries in this wide field, we can see that bi-plurilingual grammars constitute a relevant and specific editorial phenomenon of the 16th and 17th centuries -which remains in the 18th century with less strength and practically disappears in the 19th century- for which we provide some reflections with the intention of unraveling the intentions of authors and publishers when betting on this type of linguistic material, as well as the justification of them from the point of view of the conception of language and its learning.
