    Se plantea una reflexión sobre las causas y alcance del fenómeno de la posverdad. Se analiza las nociones fundamentales con los que está relaciónado, a saber, verdad–mentira, objetividad (conceptualidad)–emociones, las cuales mediante un proceso de distorsión deliberada afecta directamente a las creencias (individuales/colectivas). A continuación, se analiza el contexto filosófico y el modo en que desde esa perspectiva se ha ido preparando el terreno para la aparición de este fenómeno social que es la posverdad. Se llega a la necesidad de reconstrucción de la noción de verdad y para ello se recurre a la teoría consensual de la verdad de Apel y la noción de «lugar que da verdad» de I. Ellacuría.

    A reflection on the causes and scope of the phenomenon of post–truth is proposed. It analyzes the fundamental notions with which it is related, namely, truth–lie, objectivity (conceptuality)–emotions, which through a process of deliberate distortion directly affects beliefs (individual / collective). Next, we analyze the philosophical context and the way in which the situation has been prepared for the appearance of this social phenomenon, which is post–truth. The need to reconstruct the notion of truth is reached, and for this, Apel's consensual theory of truth and the notion of «place that gives truth» by I. Ellacuría are used.
