El reino de Artemia: la idea de cultura en Baltasar Gracián

    Se realiza un análisis de la idea de cultura en la obra de Baltasar Gracián. Para ello partimos del concepto de cultura como un mito oscurantista, según la tesis defendida por Gustavo Bueno en El mito de la cultura. Se defiende la idea de que la noción de cultura ejercida por Gracián se corresponde con la cultura entendida como cultura subjetual. Gracián se acerca enormemente al concepto de cultura objetiva, e incluso al concepto de cultura circunscrita, pero no llega a desbordar las coordenadas de la cultura animi. Los especialistas en Gracián no distinguen las diferentes escalas del mito de la cultura, atribuyéndole una idea de cultura que no maneja.

    This study analyses the idea of culture in the work of Baltasar Gracián. The starting point is the concept of culture as an obscurantist myth, according to the thesis defended by Gustavo Bueno in The Myth of Culture. We support the idea that the notion of culture exercised by Gracián corresponds to culture understood as subjective culture. Gracián is very close to the concept of objective culture, and even to the concept of circumscribed culture, but he does not go beyond the limits of the animi culture. The experts in Gracián cannot distinguish the different levels of the myth of culture, attributing to him an idea of culture that he does not handle.
