This article aims to explain the reasons of the opposition to the dictatorship to use the democratization and political use of human rights to prevent the emergence of a “rebellion of the below”, as well as a stop to the repression, and how these are used against leftist political violence during the Days of Protest. This represented an ideological critique against the left, which encouraged the demobilization of revolutionary sectors. Political documents, press articles, and general bibliography will be used for this research
