El siguiente ensayo busca explorar las distintas formas en que el escritor y guionista argentino Héctor Germán Oesterheld contribuyó a la industria editorial chilena. A través de las entrevistas a José “Pepe” Palomo, Hernán Vidal “Hervi” y Alberto Vivanco, el ensayo analizará cómo las apariciones y desapariciones de Oesterheld en Chile y los proyectos realizados y frustrados que compartieron los creadores de ambos lados de la cordillera sirven para pensar una historia de la historieta no lineal, cuya temporalidad se enfrenta al mundo que representa.

The following essay attempts to explore the many ways in which the Argentinian script-writer Héctor Germán Oesterheld contributed to the Chilean press industry. Through the interviews with José “Pepe” Palomo, Hernán Vidal “Hervi” and Alberto Vivanco, this essay will think how Oesterhled’s appearances and disappearances along with the fulfilled and failed projects that creators of both sides of the mountains share, we can think of a non linear history of the comics whose temporality faces the world that it represents.
