Resumen de Update of Hospitality Management Education's Most Influential Scholars: a Citation Analysis 1989–1999

In 1995 we presented the results of a citation analysis of the five major hospitality management education journals: Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, FIU Hospitality Review, Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Education, Journal of Hospitality Research. This citation analysis covered published articles in these journals for the years 1989–1993. In 1997 we presented an update of that information and included articles published in the same journals from 1989–1996. In this article we present a further update, based on articles published in the five journals noted above for a ten-year period, 1989–1999.
