    El Patrimonio Hidráulico incluye un conjunto de elementos construidos para diferentes usos relacionados con el agua. Uno de estos conjuntos son los depósitos de agua. Muchas ciudades del País Vasco cuentan con depósitos, habitualmente enterrados, que son un ejemplo extraordinario del Patrimonio Arquitectónico Hidráulico Vasco de finales del siglo XIX. Este tipo de construcciones, construidas en su mayoría para abastecer a los nuevos ensanches del siglo diecinueve, atraviesan un momento crítico, pues están a mitad de camino entre el concepto de equipamiento urbano obsoleto y el de bien patri monial. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un estudio detallado de estos aljibes y en especial el de fos Antiguos Depósitos de Agua de Ulía, San Sebastián, así como hacer aflorar sus cualidades, para que sean considerados como elementos de valor patrimonial.

    The Hydraulic Heritage includes a set of elements built for different uses related to water. One of these sets is the water tanks. Many cities in the Basque Country have tanks, usually buried, which are an extraordinary example of the Basque Architectural Hydraulic Heritage of the late 19th century. These types of constructions, mostly built to supply the new expansions of the 19th century, are going through a critica! moment, as they are halfway between the concept of obsolete urban equipment and that of a heritage asset. The objective of this work is to carry out a detailed study of the Old Ulía Water Tanks in San Sebastián, since they are a very interesting example of this type of construction. In addition, an analysis of their unique qualities will be carried out, aimed at ensuring that their value as heritage is recognized and taken into account.
