Formas hímnicas en el tercer estásimo de Helena de Eurípides

    El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la relevancia que posee para la comprensión de Helena el himno κλητικός a los Dioscuros en el tercer estásimo (vv. 1451-1511), solicitando la presencia y la ayuda de los hermanos divinos de la heroína. Si bien sοlo los vv. 1495-1511 constituyen el himno, todo el estásimo puede entenderse como un canto ‘apotropaico’ ya que, imaginando el regreso feliz a Esparta y la participación de la hija de Leda en rituales espartanos, en cierta medida contribuyen a su cumplimiento. Por otra parte, cabe señalar la importancia de las otras deidades mencionadas en esta oda: Jacinto y las Leucípides, vinculadas con los ritos de pasaje, con las iniciaciones que implican simultáneamente muerte y renacimiento.

    The objective of this paper is to analyze the relevance of the κλητικός hymn to the Dioscuros in the third stasimon (1451-1511), requesting the presence and help of the divine brothers of the heroine, for the understanding of Helen. While only vv. 1495-1511 constitute the hymn, the whole stasimon can be understood as an ‘apotropaic’ song since, imagining the happy return to Sparta and the participation of Leda's daughter in Spartan rituals, to some extent contributes to its fulfillment. On the other hand, it is worth noting the importance of the other deities mentioned in this ode: Hyacinth and the Leucippides, linked to the rites of passage, to the initiations that simultaneously imply death and rebirth.
