El rock nos ha acompañado por décadas. Ha estado ahí, como una atmósfera, como un fondo, como el aire, fiel, constante, impertinente, cómodo, sutil, agresivo, tenue, autoritario, fragante, asqueroso, bello, inspirador, pedagógico, distractor, rabioso, dormilón. Este es un apunte sobre un proyecto en proceso y en progreso, un programa emergente sobre Ingeniería en Comunicación Social del rock. En cierto sentido es un placer, un gozo, un disfrute profundo y alegre. También un reto, una complicación, una dificultad. Estas son las notas sobre otro rostro posible del rock, cuando se quita la máscara y le miramos las venas y la carne viva. La conmoción no es menor que al escuchar una rola, es distinta, similar y superior. Darse cuenta, percibir más allá de lo evidente, de lo común, de lo ordinario. Y sobrevivir, y contar el viaje.

Rock has been with us for decades. It has been there, like an atmosphere, like a background, like the air, faithful, constant, impertinent, comfortable, subtle, aggressive, tenuous, authoritarian, fragrant, disgusting, beautiful, inspiring, pedagogical, distracting, rabid, sleepy. This is a note about a project in progress and in progress, an emerging program on Social Communication Engineering of rock. In a sense it is a pleasure, a joy, a deep and joyful enjoyment. Also a challenge, a complication, a difficulty. These are the notes on another pos-sible face of rock, when the mask is removed and we look at the veins and live meat. The shock is not less than when listening to a song, it is different, similar and superior. Realize, perceive beyond the obvious, the common, the ordinary. And survive, and tell the trip.
