  • Resumen
    • In the literature, there are many testimonials to the positive effects of CMC on intellectual life. Some exploratory studies are beginning to appear to help us understand this phenomenon, especially as a component of educational environments. For this study, a survey was conducted to develop a profile of most likely users, to identify those factors which may influence or inhibit its use, and determine its perceived social and intellectual value in a graduate school community. These factors were analyzed by four levels of use to identify which factors would encourage some students to use the systems more than others.
