    Los UAS (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) han supuesto una revolución dentro del escenario bélico, en estos últimos 15 años ha habido una explosión en el número y sofisticación de estos sistemas. Las nuevas posibilidades que el desarrollo de estos sistemas ha dado al sector militar son el fruto de décadas de avances y retrocesos, de éxitos y fracasos. Conocer la evolución histórica nos dará una idea de las razones por las que han surgido. Como toda tecnología, su introducción en las operaciones militares va a ampliar los horizontes pero también provocará una serie de dilemas, algunos muy difíciles de resolver en el escenario actual.

    The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles represent a revolution within the military field, in the last 15 years there has been an explosion in the number and sophistication of these systems. The new possibilities that the development of these systems have offered the military sector are the result of decades of breakthroughs and setbacks, of successes and failures. If we know the historical evolution we'll get the reasons behind their emergence. As any technology, their introduction in military operations is going to expand the horizons but they'll also cause a series of dilemmas, some of them very difficult to solve in the current scene.
