En enero de 2017 el presidente Barack Obama terminará su segundo mandato y abandonará la Casa Blanca sin cumplir una de las principales promesas de su presidencia: terminar, responsablemente, con las guerras iniciadas en Irak y Afganistán por su predecesor, George W. Bush, y retirar a todas las tropas estadounidenses de estos campos de batalla. Las estrategias propuestas por su administración no lo han logrado hasta el momento y la decisión de cuándo y cómo terminarán corresponderá, seguramente, al 45° presidente de Estados Unidos.

In January of 2017 President Barack Obama will end his second term and leave the White House without fulfilling one of the main promises of his presidency: to conclude, responsibly, with the wars of Iraq and Afghanistan declared by his predecessor, George W. Bush, and withdraw all American troops from these battle fields. The strategies proposed by his administration did not have been accomplished so far and the decision of when and how it will be concluded shall be, surely, to the 45th president of the United States.
