En este trabajo se estudia la trayectoria vital y artística del pintor Antón Pizarro, una personalidad singular fraguada en el ambiente toledano a la sombra del Greco hacia el último tercio del siglo XVI, fecha en la que se estima que ingresó en su obrador. Se presentan nuevas obras localizadas en Toledo que, por sus características formales, responden a un primer Naturalismo.

In this study, the life and artistic career of the painter Antón Pizarro are discussed. He was a singular artist who entered in the Greco’s workshop in Toledo by the last third of the 16th century. New works located in Toledo are presented, which, due to their formal characteristics, respond to a first Naturalism.
