Resumen de La educación superior indígena e intercultural en México en 2018: incógnitas, interrogantes y resultados

Examinaremos los objetivos de la Educación Superior Intercultural e Indígena (esii), sus perfiles y modalidades de funcionamiento. Partiremos de la hipótesis que, casi veinte años después de su surgimiento, la esii incrementó sus grados de institucionalización, en cuanto a regulaciones, gobernanza y recursos. Sin embargo, conserva una condición de sub-cam-po emergente, caracterizado por tensiones internas y externas y atiende un grupo estu-diantil pionero. Pese al interés social y político despertados por la esii a principios del siglo xxi y la productividad académica de los investigadores que la analizan, las carencias de información sistematizada sobre sus resultados y sus alcances dificultan hacer un balance confiable de su situación.

We will examine the objectives, profiles and governance of Intercultural and Indigenous Higher Education System. Our hypothesis is that, twenty years after its creation, iihe has improved its institutionalization degree, in terms of regulation, administration and resou-rces. But it is still an emergent field, characterized by internal and external conflicts and it received “pioneer’s” students. Albeit the social and political interest for iihe in the xxicentury and the academic productivity of specialized researchers on diverse matters, it is hard to evaluate its results and effects because of the lack of systematized data.
