  • Resumen
    • A recent DES survey of initial teacher training in the public sector in England, Northern Ireland and Wales expresses ‘concern’ over the quality of supervision received by trainee teachers from college tutors during periods of block teaching practice. This paper reports a survey carried out in a Catholic voluntary college, in an endeavour to establish what constitutes a satisfactory model of supervision seen from the point of view of two groups of students following different teacher training courses.
