El artículo evalúa la evolución de la Ordenación del Territorio en la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca en los últimos diez años. Esta etapa ha sido fundamental para el desarrollo de la gran mayoría de los Planes Territoriales Parciales y los Planes Territoriales Sectoriales. Muchos de ellos comenzaron la última década en fase de desarrollo y en la actualidad cuentan con su aprobación definitiva. Por su parte, el máximo exponente y documento aglutinador de todas estas políticas, las Directrices de Ordenación Territorial, han sido revisadas y aprobadas definitivamente por segunda vez, después de haber agotado su primer ciclo. Es oportuno analizar el grado de cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados, así como la consecución o desarrollo de cada una de las figuras de planificación antes referidas. Para finalizar, se aborda una profunda reflexión sobre lo que dicha política ha aportado a la sociedad y el territorio del País Vasco y los retos de futuro, que pasan por el paradigma de la crisis y la necesaria sostenibilidad y equidad territorial.

The article assesses the evolution of Land Management in the Basque Autonomous Community over the past 10 years. This stage has been fundamental to the development of the vast majority of Partial Territorial Plans and Sectoral Territorial Plans. Many of them began the last decade in development and currently have their final approval. For its part, the maximum exponent and binding document of all these policies, the Territorial Planning Guidelines, have been definitively revised and approved for the second time after exhausting their first cycle. It is appropriate to analyze the degree of fulfilment of the objectives set out, as well as the achievement or development of each of the above-mentioned planning figures.
Finally, a deep reflection is given on what this policy has brought to the society and territory of the Basque Country and the challenges of the future that go through the paradigm of the crisis and the necessary sustainability and territorial equity.
