  • Resumen
    • Nowadays, to design computer‐assisted learning (CAL) systems, interactive graphics facilities are becoming indispensible to enable effective teaching. Conversely, among computer languages, people are becoming more aware of PROLOG because of its powerful, interactive and declarative features in designing courseware. However, PROLOG with graphics still has limited use, on restricted types of machines.

To create a programming environment of PROLOG integrated with powerful graphics, we have implemented an interactive graphics extension for PROLOG on RM NIMBUS, a widely used microcomputer in education and training. This graphics extension comprises a set of PROLOG'S built‐in primitives with facilities for line drawing, hand‐sketching, windowing, graphical file accessing etc.
