Resumen de Diagnostic Assessment ‐‐ a Teacher's View

W. Morrison, R. Cunningham

  • The authors were involved in the Scottish Council for Research in Education's Diagnostic Assessment in Secondary Schools Project. A case study is provided to show how diagnostic assessment of concept attainment was developed in a geography department. It is concluded that diagnostic assessment can be of considerable value to teachers and pupils. A cautionary note is sounded, however, in terms of the work involved in its initial planning.
