Resumen de The Resources for Learning Development Unit 1974‐8: a Classroom‐Based Innovation

P. Waterhouse

  • The Resources for Learning Development Unit is of interest as an innovation because of its local base, its heavy involvement of teachers, and its systematic approach to classroom organization. It is an offspring of the Nuffield Resources for Learning Project (1966‐1971), and was originally set up to test the feasibility of a local teachers’ cooperative for the making of learning materials. It continues to exercise that function, but probably its greatest achievement has been the development of a flexible system of classroom management which makes use of a wide repertoire of methods.
