Resumen de OPINION The Production of Materials to Support Staff Development in UK Universities and Polytechnics
In December 1980 a new working group was admitted into the Society for Research into Higher Education. Its brief was to produce materials to support the training and development of teachers in higher education and to present them to the Society's Publications Committee for publication. The Group arose from a proposal which the author had put to the Publications Committee, and this in turn arose from work which she had done with and on such materials over the preceding three years. This article reports on this work, and describes how the proposal is beginning to be implemented.
