La sociedad ilimitada de la comunicación frente al desafío de la cuarentena global

    Se propone un estudio que contraste la visión pesimista de la sociedad en cuarentena, encabezada por pensadores como Giorgio Agamben, Paul B. Preciado y Byung-Chul Han, entre otros, contra el modelo de comunicación interpersonal de Manuel Martín Algarra, comunicólogo y teórico de la comunicación de la Universidad de Navarra. Mediante este enfrentamiento se busca evaluar los fundamentos que sustentan la primera postura, ahondando en sus premisas y las relaciones que estas mantienen con las conclusiones a la que estos filósofos llegan. Para ello se definirán los rasgos esenciales que componen la visión pesimista de la cuarentena global, y se presentará el desafío social que esta supone, caracterizada por la idea de un sujeto radicalmente incomunicado y separado de la sociedad. El drama de esta perspectiva consiste en que, para ella, el aislamiento forzado responde a objetivos viciosos y tiene como consecuencia trágica la disolución total del tejido social. Se reconstruirá el modelo comunicativo de Martín Algarra, para dar cuenta de la íntima relación existente entre el acto comunicativo interpersonal y la conformación de la sociedad.

    This study presents a contrast between the pessimistic view of the quarantined society, led by thinkers such as Giorgio Agamben, Paul B. Preciado and Byung-Chul Han, among others, against the model of interpersonal communication of Manuel Martín Algarrar, communicologist and communication theorist of the University of Navarra. This confrontation seeks to evaluate the reasons that support the first position, deepening in its premises and the relations that these maintain with the conclusions reached by these philosophers. For this purpose, the essential characteristics that make up the pessimistic vision of the global quarantine will be defined, and the social challenge that this implies will be presented, characterized by the idea of a subject radically incommunicado and separated from society. The drama of this perspective consists in the fact that, for it, forced isolation responds to vicious objectives and has as a tragic consequence the total dissolution of the social fabric. Martin Algarra's communicative model will be reconstructed, to give an account of the intimate relationship between the interpersonal communicative act and the shaping of society.
