    • The Ruleg system was used in the preparation true even for the more able pupils and in the longer‐term of inductive and deductive programmes for the teaching retention of ideas. However, ability and attitude did in‐of a section of the O‐grade SCE chemistry syllabus. Using fluence the effectiveness of teaching by both types of multiple‐choice tests it was found that inductive pro‐ programme whereas sex and age (fourteen to sixteen year grammes were not so successful as deductive, and this was range) did not.
