Resumen de La (des)cortesía verbal en ELE: principios y análisis de manuales

  Tras analizar las principales teorías de la (des)cortesía, enfocadas al español, y el papel de la interculturalidad en ELE, se ha realizado un estudio de la presencia de la (des)cortesía verbal en tres manuales de ELE actuales. En total, se han contabilizado 108 muestras de actos de habla con el fin de analizar: i) la presencia de la cortesía en manuales de ELE, ii) la metodología con la que se presenta, iii) el vínculo entre interculturalidad y sociopragmática en ELE. Estos manuales ejemplifican la necesidad actual de superar el tradicional enfoque comunicativo fomentando un enfoque etnográfico, que parta de la observación de datos concretos, para trabajar, especialmente, cuestiones sociopragmáticas en ELE. Además, al tratarse de temas relativos a la sociopragmática, no se debe olvidar el papel activo que juega el profesor en el aula, pues debe ser un vínculo entre la cultura de origen y la cultura meta, normalizando el hecho de poder cometer errores y fomentando el descubrimiento de una nueva cultura, para evitar así la creación de estereotipos y el choque cultural.

  After analyzing the main theories of (dis)courtesy, focused on Spanish, and the role of interculturality in ELE, a study of the presence of verbal (dis)courtesy has been carried out in three current ELE manuals. In total, 108 samples of speech acts have been counted in order to analyze: (i) the presence of courtesy in ELE manuals, (ii) the methodology with which it is presented, (iii) the link between interculturality and sociopragmatic in ELE. These manuals exemplify the current need to overcome the traditional communicative approach by fostering an ethnographic approach, based on the observation of specific data, to work, in particular, sociopragmatic issues in ELE. In addition, as these are issues relating to sociopragmatics, we must not forget the role that the teacher plays in the classroom, because it must be a link between the culture of origin and the meta culture, normalizing the fact that it can make mistakes and encouraging the discovery of a new culture, in order to avoid the creation of stereotypes and cultural shock.
