En febrero de 1848, se inicia en París la Primavera de los Pueblos. De nuevo, como en 1789, las mujeres tuvieron un papel fundamental: lucharon junto a los hombres en fábricas y barricadas por la llegada de una república que creían que garantizaría los derechos sociales y laborales de todos. Pero además, guiadas por el socialismo utópico, exigían la emancipación de la mujer, por lo que tenían sus propias reivindicaciones. Para lograrlas, lucharon contra las instituciones, en las calles, manifestándose, creando periódicos feministas y sus propios clubs de debate. Y enfrentándose, así, al poder y a sus propios compañeros.

In February 1848, begins in Paris the Spring of Nations. Again, as in 1789, women had a fundamental role: they fought alongside men in factories and barricades for the arrival of a Republic that they believed would guarantee social and labor rights for all. In addition, guided by utopic socialism, they demanded the emancipation of women, so they had their own claims. To achieve them, they fought against the institutions, in the streets, manifesting, creating feminist newspapers and their own debate clubs, and facing power and their own companions.
