El presente artículo estudia la presencia de los Contemporáneos en la revista La Voz Nueva (1927-1931), dirigida por Ricardo de Alcázar. Además de una revisión general de su participación en la empresa editorial, se concentra en dos episodios vinculados a la relación de los Contemporáneos con la actualidad literaria española de su tiempo: la polémica por el meridiano intelectual de Hispanoamérica y la llegada a México del pintor español Gabriel García Maroto.

This article studies the presence of the group Contemporáneos in the magazine La Voz Nueva (1927-1931), published by Ricardo de Alcázar. In addition to offering an overview of the participation of the Contemporáneos in the magazine, the article focuses on two episodes that exemplify the relationship between the Contemporáneos and the Spanish writers of the nineteen-twenties: the controversy over the Hispano-American intellectual meridian and the arrival in Mexico of the Spanish painter Gabriel García Maroto.
