Resumen de Vicente, autoficção de Jorge Andrade

This paper concentrates on the autofiction in drama, which is a very peculiar procedure much distinct of the autofiction in the novel. This is due to the scenic representation, the actor’s presence, and other intrinsic characteristics of the dramatic genre, making that the reader or the spectator views the border between fiction and reality in a very particular way. Regarding the character Vicente, present on three plays of the Brazilian playwright Jorge Andrade and who we focus on our discussion, we propose to consider it as an autofictional character, despite its status of autobiographical by the criticism and by the author himself.

Este artigo traz uma reflexão acerca da autoficção no teatro, a qual se mostra um procedimento bastante peculiar e distinto daquele verificado na narrativa. A partir da personagem Vicente, presente em três peças do dramaturgo brasileiro Jorge Andrade, percebe-se que ela, apesar de ser descrita como autobiográfica pela crítica e pelo próprio autor, carrega status de personagem autoficcional. Isto porque as características intrínsecas ao gênero dramático, especialmente a representação e a presença do ator, fazem com que os domínios da realidade e da ficção sejam encarados de maneira singular pelo leitor ou espectador.
