Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX nuestros filósofos se interesan por asimilar las nuevas tendencias del pensamiento moderno. Algunos países como Argentina, a diferencia de otros como Colombia, recibieron una fuerte emigración de países de mayor desarrollo tecnológico y de una gran tradición científica y filosófica. Ese hecho incidió considerablemente en la más rápida estimulante recepción del pensamiento moderno europeo. En el presente escrito se hace un esbozo histórico de la manera como la filosofía kantiana fue decepcionada por algunos pensadores de América Latina.

During the second half of the nineteenth century our philosophers are interested in assimilating the new trends of modern thought. Some countries such as Argentina, unlike other like Colombia, received a strong migration from developing countries with the highest technology and a scientific and philosophical tradition. This fact influenced considerably faster in challenging reception of modern thinking in Europe. In this paper gives a historical outline of how the Kantian philosophy was disappointed by some Latin American thinkers.
