Resumen de The Place of Sound within the Learning Systems at Millfield

• This article reports an account of the work that has been carried out within the Educational Resources Faculty at Millfield School involving the use of sound recordings in group and individual learning systems. A brief description of the systems developed for departments is presented together with information on the Resources for Learning Centre. The paper concentrates upon the advantages for the pupil in the use of this approach and the effects upon the role of the teacher.
