  • Resumen
    • The production of these support materials, intended for teachers in primary and secondary schools was begun, during the existence of N.C.E.T. and is being continued by C.E.T. Five modules, each employing a multi‐media approach, have been developed around the themes: Educational objectives, Criteria for the selection of methods and resources, Management of resources, Characteristics of media, and Evaluation. Some interrelationships between the modules are pointed out in the tutors’ manuals; the four filmed case studies also relate potentially to more than one module. Steps leading to the selection of the media used for the presentation of the various packages are described, in particular the various uses to which audio tapes were put.

The emphasis on the need to monitor and gain feedback, being continued now by the Council, is such as to make it a major task of the Project Implementation Fellow. Other aspects of his role; demonstrations and lectures, response to and follow up of inquiries, recording the pattern and range of use of materials are detailed and serve to show the continuing pattern of development of the Support Materials.
