La experiencia del exilio provoca la sensación permanente de errancia y vagabundaje. Surge en los exiliados una pregunta natural sobre la localización del hogar. En dos mujeres de ideas republicanas, Teresa Pàmies y Anna Murià, la respuesta está vinculada con el padre y con el esposo, respectivamente. De modo que las escrituras de Crònica de la vida d’Agustí Bartra (1967) y Testament a Praga (1971) forman dos libros insólitos donde las autoras consiguen expresar su verdad sobre el exilio en relación a sus propias vidas. Por un lado, Pàmies alterna en los capítulos impares las memorias del padre (Tomàs Pàmies Pla) y en los pares el relato del entierro de su padre en la capital checa; ella funde ambos hechos como simultáneos. Por su parte, Murià con una extraordinaria sabiduría literaria fusiona tres géneros en uno: la biografía, la autobiografía y el testimonio o la crónica. Los dos títulos presentan las profundas relaciones de las mujeres con los hombres: una la relación filial y la otra conyugal. La expresión literaria de ambas autoras conforma un campo inexplorado del memorialismo español y catalán.

The experience of exile causes the permanent sensation of wandering and vagrancy. A natural question about the location of the home emerges in the exiles. In two women of republican ideas, Teresa Pàmies y Anna Murià, the answer is related respectively to the father and the husband. So the writings of Crònica de la vida d'Agustí Bartra (1967) and Testament a Prague (1971) form two unusual books in which the authors manage to express their truth. On one side, Pàmies alternates in the odd chapters the memoirs of the father and in theevens she tells about his father's burial in the Czech capital; she unites both facts as simultaneous. For her part, Murià fuses three genres into one with extraordinary literary wisdom: biography, autobiography and testimony or chronicle. Both titles present the deep relationships of women with men:
as daughter or as a wife. The literary expression of these two authors forms an unexplored field of Spanish and Catalan memorialism.
