One of the matters which must be decided by a professional trumpeter is the choice of appropriate trumpet. It’s well known that there are several ranges of instruments according to the musical level of the interpreter. Broadly speaking, a higher range may be associated with higher price but this is sometimes not enforced. When the trumpet is been chosen, the proper playback of the notes will be determinate by the nozzle. In this work we have made several recordings with different trumpeters, on different days. Each of them, using their own nozzle, plays different trumpets which were chosen for the experience. The objective is to value the influence in the harmonics of the same notes and evaluate how they have influenced in the final tone perception.
