Resumen de La fuerza de los estereotipos: la traducción de la LIJ desde una perspectiva inclusiva

  En este trabajo pretendemos presentar y analizar el carácter inclusivo de la traducción de personajes con trasfondo musulmán en el seno de la literatura infanto-juvenil, ya sea a través de la traducción de sus nombres o de la transformación de las características del personaje en las versiones traducidas. Nuestro objeto de análisis serán los personajes con trasfondo migratorio y musulmán en obras escritas en lengua española, alemana y francesa, como son: el personaje de Yihad, el íntimo amigo de Manolito Gafotas en las novelas de Elvira Lindo, en las traducciones al inglés y al alemán de sus obras, el amigo turco de Susi y Paul en las versiones españolas de las novelas de la escritora austriaca Christine Nöstlinger, y el enfoque del “musulmán discriminad” en la traducción española de la novela francesa de Yaël Hassan ‘El profesor de música’

  In this work we intend to present and analyze the inclusive character of the translation of characters with Muslim background in the literature of children and adolescents, either through the translation of their names or the transformation of the characteristics of the character in the versions translated. Our object of analysis will be the characters with migratory and Muslim background in works written in Spanish, German and French, such as: the character of Jihad, the intimate friend of Manolito Gafotas in the novels of Elvira Lindo, in its English and German translations, the Turkish friend of Susi and Paul in the Spanish versions of the novels of the Austrian writer Christine Nöstlinger, and the approach of the “discriminate Muslim” in the Spanish translation of Yaël Hassan’s French novel ‘The music teacher’.
