This paper introduces a mobile learning environment based on micro-learning. The micro-learning model presented is an extension to the ontological model defined at the University:
Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México, México - for mobile learning resources classification and management.
The micro-learning model proposed is based on a Web-didactics model. This mobile learning model based on micro-learning provides students “self-learning” capabilities by allowing them to create their own navigation chart between mobile learning resources, topics and courses. The micro-learning model has been partially implemented in a Web system, integrated with a knowledge management system for mobile learning environments.
The micro-learning system set-up and implementation focuses on a sequence definition of flashcards using Leitner classic model or a decision tree predefined by a teacher
