Resumen de Caminar descalza y ampliación cognitiva de lugares: Un proyecto de a/r/tografía walking [andar] con estudiantes de ESO

El foco de esta investigación está en la importancia de generar recuerdos memorables de lugares que estamos acostumbrados a transitar. Normalmente en estos lugares, precisamente por formar parte de nuestra cotidianeidad, no reparamos en todas sus posibilidades de indagación sensorial. Propongo una acción artística para estudiantes de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en dos institutos madrileños en la que la docente, que a su vez es artista e investigadora, parte de una acción ‘performativa’ que tiene como protagonista la acción de caminar descalza en un lugar memorable: Auschwitz, Polonia. Esta acción está inspirada en las metodologías walking [andar] que se podrían definir como una red de prácticas artísticas, activistas y educativas, que plantean la ruptura del significado inspirándose en los nuevos materialismos, las teorías críticas relacionadas con la tierra, la transmaterialidad y el movimiento (Springgay y Truman, 2018).
En esta actividad el alumnado experimenta el acto de caminar descalzo por el patio de su instituto, por una zona que sea especialmente significativa para ellos y ellas

The focus of this research project is the importance of generating unforgettable memories in places that we are accustomed to traveling through. In these places, precisely because they form part of our daily life, we usually don’t pay attention to all their possibilities for sensorial research. I propose an artistic action for High School students in two secondary schools in Madrid, in which the teacher, who is simultaneously both artist and researcher, draws on a performative action that has at its center, the action of walking barefoot in a memorable place: Auschwitz, Poland. This action is inspired by the walking methodology that can be defined as a web of artistic, activist and educational practices that disrupt original meaning, inspiring new meanings in new materialism, where critical theories are related with the earth, transmateriality and movement (Springgay and Truman, 2018). In this activity the students experience the act of walking barefoot in the courtyard of their school, through spaces that are especially significant for them
