  This article aims to demonstrate the perception of Environmental Education discourse, the divergence of the capitalist economic system and the influence of discourse in the media, government and the market. The research is bibliographical and presents theEnvironmental Education from the Marxist perspective seeking to present the inconsistencies of the global demands with the current economic system and the importance of rethinking and discussing in the school an ideology that can meet the purpose of Environmental Education and in the second moment it discusses the capitalist discourse and Environmental Education that promotes the consumption incentive

  O presente artigo tem por objetivo demonstrar a percepção do discurso da Educação Ambiental, a divergência do sistema econômico capitalista e a influência do discurso na mídia, no governo e no mercado. A Pesquisa é bibliográfica e apresenta a Educação Ambiental na perspectiva marxista buscando apresentar as incoerências das exigências globais com o sistema econômico atual e a importância do repensar e discutir na escola uma ideologia que possa atender a finalidade da Educação Ambiental e no segundo momento discorre sobre o discurso capitalista e a Educação Ambiental que promove o incentivo ao consumo
