    La contienda de la batalla de Alalia en el Mar Sardum ha sido tradicionalmente estudiada a través del análisis de fuentes, centrándose estos en la veracidad de las mismas, su ubicación o en la influencia que esta contienda produjo en el mundo griego y tartésico. En este estudio se pretende abordar un análisis exhaustivo de dicha batalla, tanto a nivel documental como historiográfico, con el fin de esclarecer cuales fueron las posibles consecuencias de este enfrentamiento, no solamente en la Península Ibérica o en el mundo griego occidental, sino también en las civilizaciones cartaginesa y etrusca, desplazadas habitualmente en este tipo de investigaciones relacionadas con dicha batalla.

    The contention of the battle of Alalia in the Sardum Sea has traditionally been studied through the analysis of sources, focusing these on the veracity of the same, their location or on the influence that this contention produced in the Greek and Tartessian world. This study aims to undertake an exhaustive analysis of this battle, both documentary and historiographic, in order to clarify what were the possible consequences of this confrontation, not only in the Iberian Peninsula or in the western Greek world, but also in the Carthaginian and Etruscan civilizations, usually displaced in this type of research related to the battle.
