Resumen de Gobernanza democrática y alianza mundial para el desarrollo sostenible: (ODS 17)

Garantizar el derecho al desarrollo sostenible es una de las finalidades de la comunidad internacional. La Agenda 2030 incluye 17 objetivos y 169 medidas para lograrlo. El ODS 17alude a necesidad de establecer alianzas entre instituciones públicas y privadas para lograrlo. Partiendo del concepto de gobernanza democrática, se describen algunos indicadores del Latinobarómetro para comprobar el grado de confianza de la ciudadanía hacia las instituciones esenciales del Estado, la Sociedad y el Mercado. Los resultados arrojan cifras preocupantes, aunque se destaca la aplicación de mecanismos que están permitiendo la consecución de una alianza mundial para el desarrollo sostenible.

One of the purposes of the international community is to guarantee the right to sustainable development. The 2030 Agenda includes 17 objectives and 169 measures to achieve it. Specifically, SDG 17 refers to the need to establish alliances between public and private institutions to achieve this objective. From the concept of democratic governance, some of indicators of the Latinobarometro are described to verify the degree of confidence of citizens towards the essential institutions of the State, Society and the Market. Results show some worrying figures, althoughthe application of mechanisms that are moving towards the achievement of a global alliance for sustainable development stands out.
