  The main purpose of this work was to study the acoustic quality of a group of auditoriums at the University of Aveiro focusing on measurable and objective parameters. Whilst studying the group of auditoriums, a main factor that was kept in mind was their age and building time. In this work 5 auditoriums at the University of Aveiro were analysed, from the oldest to the most recent (auditorium of Edifício 3 and auditorium of Complexo Pedagógico, respectively), and only one of them had been acoustically studied (auditorium of Reitoria). Two distinct methods were applied for measuring the parameters: Interrupted noise and Impulse Response. For the latter a low cost system was used. The results for T60 vary between 0.56s and 2.08s while T30, T20 and EDT vary between 2.10s and 0.60s; 0.76s and 2.08s; 0.62s and 1.95s respectively. As for D50 and C80 the results obtained vary between 34.12% and 70.93%; 0.74dB and 8.56dB, respectively. It was possible to reach a conclusion based on the results of the measurements, the auditoriums were acoustically characterized, both measurement methods were analysed and compared and acoustic solutions where provided when needed.

  Pretende-se com este trabalho estudar a qualidade acústica de um conjunto de auditórios da Universidade de Aveiro focando num conjunto de parâmetros mensuráveis e objectivos (T60; EDT; D50 e C80). A sua época de construção foi tida em consideração como ponto fulcral na análise dos mesmos. Neste trabalho analisaram-se 5 auditórios da Universidade de Aveiro (do mais antigo, o auditório do Edifício 3, até ao mais recente, o auditório do Complexo Pedagógico), sendo que apenas um apresentava um estudo acústico (auditório da Reitoria). Utilizaram-se duas metodologias distintas de medição: Interrupted noise e Impulse Response para a obtenção dos parâmetros. Nas medições com base na resposta impulsiva (Impulse Response) foi utilizado um sistema de baixo custo. Os valores de T60 obtidos variam entre 0.56s e 2.08s enquanto que os valores de T30, T20 e EDT variam entre: 2.10s e 0.60s; 0.76s e 2.08s; 0.62s e 1.95s, respectivamente. Os valores de D50 e C80 obtidos variam entre 34.12% e 70.93%; 0.74dB e 8.56dB respectivamente. Foi possível concluir sobre os resultados obtidos, caracterizaram-se os auditórios a nível acústico, analisaram-se e compararam-se métodos de medição e propuseram-se soluções construtivas para alguns auditórios.
