O presente artigo reflete sobre o regime português de semipresidencialismo, abordando a separação e interdependência de poderes em geral, responsabilidades do governo, sistema de fiscalização da constitucionalidade em Portugal. Aborda também a fiscalização concreta da constitucionalidade e a marca caraterizadora dos mandatos presidenciais, bem como a apreciação do semipresidencialismo português à luz do veto político do Presidente da República

This article reflects on the Portuguese regime of semi-presidentialism, addressing the separation and interdependence of powers in general, government responsibilities, the system for monitoring constitutionality in Portugal. It also addresses the concrete inspection of constitutionality and the hallmark of presidential mandates, as well as the appreciation of Portuguese semi-presidentialism in the light of the political veto of the President of the Republic
