Damos la bienvenida a todos los lectores a este número ESPECIAL DE LA revista Cultura Educación Y sociedad –CES, en esta ocasión con emoción tengo la oportunidad de presentarles una completa selección de artículos elaborados los docentes de las instituciones educativas oficiales del Departamento del Magdalena, desarrollados dentro del proyecto:“Fortalecimiento de la cultura ciudadana y democrática en CT+I a través de la IEP apoyada en TIC en el Departamento del Magdalena”, ejecutado por la Gobernación del Magdalena con el apoyo de cuatro operadores: Universidad del Magdalena, Universidad de la Costa; Fundación María Eugenia Fernández Piñeres -MAFERPI y FUNTIC. Para la realización de este proyecto se hizo una convocatoria en la que los maestros participes en sus calidades de investigadores; coinvestigadores y acompañantes, profundizaron en la comprensión de la ciencia, buscando desde su disciplina un sentido a su quehacer educativo; con enfoque reflexivo sobre la investigación, sistematizando su propia experiencia de formación y de acompañamiento, para compartirla con la comunidad académica magdalenense y para generar redes de saber y conocimiento en pro de la calidad educativa de la región.
Así entonces, lo más destacado de la presente edición es el alto número de investigadores que colaboran, y la diversidad de los tópicos de estudio, debido a dos factores principales: la multiculturalidad de la región y las distintas necesidades expresadas en las líneas temáticas utilizadas. Ello permitió identificar las problemáticas de sus comunidades, en el esfuerzo por plantear alternativas de solución que se concretaron en múltiples líneas: La IEP como estrategia de intervención para la sana Convivencia Escolar, La IEP y la construcción de Competencias Ciudadanas, reflexión de la práctica pedagógica desde el uso de la IEP, problemáticas de impacto a las comunidades en las que se encuentran los maestros y maestras, articulación de la IEP a objetos virtuales de aprendizaje derivados de los contenidos incluidos en los currículos y generación de metodologías y estrategias para incrementar el interés de los niños(as) y jóvenes hacia la investigación. Esperamos que este ejercicio investigativo y reflexivo de los maestros del Magdalena, se materialice en su práctica docente y les permita innovar en sus ambientes laborales.

We welcome all readers to this SPECIAL number of the magazine Cultura Educación Y sociedad -CES, on this occasion with emotion I have the opportunity to present you with a complete selection of articles prepared by the teachers of the official educational institutions of the Department of Magdalena, developed Within the project: "Strengthening of the citizen and democratic culture in CT + I through the IEP supported by ICT in the Department of Magdalena", executed by the Magdalena Government with the support of four operators: Universidad del Magdalena, Universidad de the coast; María Eugenia Fernández Piñeres Foundation -MAFERPI and FUNTIC.
For the realization of this project a call was made in which the teachers participate in their qualities of researchers; co-investigators and companions, deepened in the understanding of science, seeking from their discipline a sense to their educational work; with a reflective focus on research, systematizing their own experience of training and accompaniment, to share it with the Magdalenense academic community and to generate knowledge and knowledge networks in favor of the educational quality of the region.
So then, the highlight of this edition is the high number of researchers who collaborate, and the diversity of the topics of study, due to two main factors: the multiculturalism of the region and the different needs expressed in the thematic lines used. This allowed to identify the problems of their communities, in the effort to propose alternative solutions that were specified in multiple lines: The IEP as an intervention strategy for healthy school life, the IEP and the construction of Citizen Competences, reflection on pedagogical practice from the use of the IEP, problems of impact to the communities where the teachers are, articulation of the IEP to virtual learning objects derived from the contents included in the curricula and generation of methodologies and strategies to increase the interest of children and young people towards research.
We hope that this investigative and reflective exercise of Magdalena teachers will materialize in their teaching practice and allow them to innovate in their work environments.
