    El artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación “incidencia del tipo de apego en el rendimiento académico”. Cuyo objetivo fue analizar la incidencia del tipo de apego en el rendimiento escolar en un grupo de jóvenes de 10° grado, del Instituto Tecnológico Industrial de Santa Rosa de Cabal, de municipio de Pereira (Risaralda, Colombia). Participaron 146 adolescentes entre 16 y 20 años, de 10° grado. La investigación es de tipo cuantitativa con diseño no experimental transeccional descriptivo explicativo. Se utilizaron instrumentos como el cuestionario Camir que mide las representaciones de apego y el registro de notas parciales y globales del IV período académico de 2019. Los resultados, evidencian que no existe una relación entre el tipo de apego y el rendimiento académico, lo que indica que es necesario profundizar, tanto a nivel teórico como empírico la relación de estas variables.

    The article presents the results of the investigation “incidence of the type of attachment in academic performance”. The objective of which was to analyze the incidence of the type of attachment on school performance in a group of 10th grade youth from the Santa Rosa de Cabal Industrial Technological Institute, in the municipality of Pereira (Risaralda, Colombia). 146 adolescents between 16 and 20 years old, from grade 10 participated. The research is quantitative with a non-experimental descriptive-explanatory transectional design. Instruments such as the Camir questionnaire that measures attachment representations and the record of partial and global grades for the IV academic period of 2019 were used. The results show that there is no relationship between the type of attachment and academic performance, which indicates that it is necessary to deepen, both theoretically and empirically, the relationship of these variables.
