  El incremento en la adopción de un enfoque basado en procesos, evidenciado en las normas y modelos de excelencia, permite lagestión de las interrelaciones dentro de la organización, tributando a la satisfacción de las partes interesadas. Pero, alcanzar esteenfoque en las organizaciones, se ha tornado complejo, debido al manejo de grandes volúmenes de información, el escaso empleode mecanismos que propicien las interrelaciones, así como la falta de rapidez para responder ante los cambios del entorno. A lapar, vienen despuntando nuevas herramientas, más acordes a las tecnologías y a los nuevos modelos de negocios para mejorarel desempeño empresarial. Se destacan entre estas, la Arquitectura Empresarial y la Minería de Procesos. Siendo el objetivode la investigación: analizar la utilidad que ofrecen estas herramientas a la gestión por procesos, en el contexto actual de lasorganizaciones. A partir de la revisión bibliográfica y el método de inducción-deducción, se obtienen las características específicasde estas herramientas para ser empleadas en la gestión por procesos

  The increase in the adoption of a process-based approach, evidenced in the standards and models of excellence, allows the management of the interrelationships within the organization, paying tribute to the satisfaction of the interested parties. But, reaching this focus in organizations, has become complex due to the handling of large volumes of information, the limited use of mechanisms that promote interrelationships, as well as the lack of speed to respond to changes in the environment. At the same time, new tools are emerging, more in line with technologies and new business models to improve business performance. They stand out among these, the Enterprise Architecture and the Process Mining. Being the objective of the investigation: to analyze the utility that these tools offer to the management by processes in the current context of the organizations. From the bibliographic review and the induction-deduction method, the specific characteristics of these tools are obtained to be used in process management.
